Review for Yaamirukka Bayamey

The Cast Includes Kresha,Rupa Manjari,Oviya and Kruna. 

Kreshna as Kiran inherits his father's property located in a village called Kolliyur. He Meets Karuna(Sarath) and his sister oviya (saranya) . Karuna as a caretaker of kreshna's property mentions the former's dad wished to convert this mansion to a guest house.Kiran renovates using the money looted from a goon's son. 

Karuna plays as a manager of the guesthouse and his sister oviyaa as a cook. He also kindles oviya to flirt with kreshna so that she can settle as a millionaire marrying kiran. Rupa Manjari ( Smitha ) plays as love interest for kiran. Typical Lover- flirt period in the film but this could be enjoyed.

The Genre is very different and it is crafted very nicely. Karuna does it with ease. His timing and expression is simply amazing.(when he sings "ponmeni... " watchout!)

He is well supported by Kreshna. 

The story revolves around uncanny death of customers staying in the hotel. Afraid of losing goodwill of the guesthouse if these death cases are exposed to police, they decide to bury the bodies. Now, this happens to all the customers who visit the house.The Twist in the story keeps you guessing.

Scenes are well knitted and the episode of "Vaada Vaada pannikutty vaaiya" and "movie Pumpusetu" will definitely catch you with highest laughter.

Its a thriller cum horror cum comedy and a feel good movie. i can hear people screaming from their voice out and parallely laughing out loud. The Camera work by a newcomer rammy, he has done a great job ( most of the horror lies on how you pace the camera). The art & editing department takes up the credit for the wonderful location shots and pace in the movie respectively.

Music is ok, Mysailmai's short stint is appreciated and camera work in the climax will send chillers down to your spine. Anaswara plays it well on the crucial character, she is pretty too. 

Director Deekay is very clear with his script and used all the ingredients in a right mix but few scenes could have been done better. it felt as if he was rushing and wanted the next scene to flow. More detail on the flashback could have made it more interesting.

Gen ‘Y’ is defined differently by various institutions but one common factor among these statements will be ‘Young & Vibrant’ people. This typically covers those born between 1980s to 1993s. The reason why, lot of emphasis is placed on understanding this workforce is because of their communication pattern. They are always connected either in text messages are through Skype calls. Each and every Communication in Social Media brings so much importance to one’s social being. Remember, not so long, a girl was arrested for liking a status. It is just not about Comments and Status updates, even a poke or a like translates as communication.

 

From buying a Jockey to Jet, people post everything and anything on net. Be it birth or obituary, everything has a space on Social Media. Emotional Articulation of one’s love, hate, anger, win, lose and what not, you have a choice to select your mood from feeling happy to feeling meh! With Apps like Instagram, Flickr, Pintrest (may be more), one can edit a picture of a ghost and make it look gorgeous.

With so much updates and sharing, it leads to one’s perception to the outside world. Your profile is a brand ambassador for you. In short, it says who you are and it defines what you are to the rest of the world.

 When it comes to Professional Social Networking sites say LinkedIn, you carry the image of the company, inform the world about the role you play in the organization(s) and inspire your fraternity on the skill which is yielding bread and butter. Be wise when you choose your appearance in social media, because as an individual, you play different roles in the society, role of a friend, role of a family member, role of an Organizational representative and a role to a stranger to whom you are not connected. People around us are too quick to judge. With Social Media around, it gives easier access to diplomats to classify your personality. At the same time, this is the best stage to be expressive. It’s like one message and that carries till the last person known to you in earth.

On recent closure of telegram services by Indian Government makes it more evident for people around us to choose the best and easiest way to communicate. Emails and Text Messages are the buzz word of yestyears. Today, the growth of mobility and mobile applications play a great role in everyone’s world. Say, 85% of twitter users are using it via Mobile application. Hunger for learning and know- all attitudes are forcing people to carry their mobile with data connection in pockets. It is going to stay and it would still make it count big in the years to come. Social Media’s next dimension is unimaginable. All you might know; the blink of your eye would turn in to a message.

Campus interview encounter

Was recently out for a campus interview and stunning visuals of the college buildings were awe-inspiring. The Chairman of the College might decide to have his next 4 generations unemployed and still would lead a royal family life!.. yes! even if petrol prices raise up to Rs.1000 per litre ( which eventually will happen - Someday ) , that would not stop them from filling gases for their Mercedes. Filthy Rich!
Of Course, Nothing is sold free! It would have taken hard work and greatness in Smart work to be in the place where it is now!

ah! Campus is completely Wi-fi(ed) and yet no one found in We Chat or Tango!(Interesting! ). With every kid in town has a smart phone and whats app, was like the cheapest application. Buzzing sound was always on and this campus had people from arts to Vegetable cutter. Without any hunch, Canteen was crowded and Messy! Of course not always people visit canteen for food (think about your own college days! ).

Dude! Bro! Maacha! Honey! Dear! Wanna! Gonna! ..(those were some of the commonly picked up words from the atmosphere) from Kanyakumari to J&K ( may be even beyond) people from all walks of life are here in this college. Admission to this institution demands parents to shell out their printed notes in Lakhs.. 

During Test Announcements! We said " Listen Guys!, Absolutely!!!!! no Mobile Phones, leave your bags outside , no bits of papers , you will enter the examination hall with the application form, pen or pencil to workout, ID Card and Calc and Any other Doubts???? "

Intelligence has no limits! "Sir, is wallet allowed??” *blink* and thank god he stopped with it.

Hospitality was good and great especially when they served me 2 cups teas in the same evening (Of course smaller cups) Morning Breakfast had Pongal ( I think it is umpma – not a easy guess though! ) and Idli had creativity (wish, they should not have tried creativity in idli ).Idli had some half cooked Thoor Dhal on the top and we sent it back to the soil by wasting it.

The Sales man at Cavin's milk strikes good performance rating this year, this was evident when they served all the favored drinks from Cavins (on all the 3 days of the campus interviews).
Personal Interviews : Everyone had a common answers, some of them were “No Sir, I do not know anything on Programming” , “Yes Sir, I know basics of ‘C’ & ‘C++’ ” ( for the benefit of knowledge C&C++ is part of 6^th std text book Syllabus)

Sometimes, the stress is on the interviewer more than the interviewee (Students). While you expect an answer from the candidate, they twist with their innovate facts, creativity and some of the one liners are as follows

“JRD Tata is the CEO of TATAs” - Thank god! He Wasn’t gonna hear this!!
“TCS is a Consulting Company where you manage people and Clients”, - As if people have no other better job!
 “TCS was found in 1907” ah! IT revolution between World Wars! Amazing!

“I am a bio medical student but I am interested in IT and I do not know anything on programming. I can perform a role of managing people “ – Basically I want a monthly salary by blaming people!!!

Ok! Fun’s Apart … We did meet some Passionate and Young minds. They knew each and every word they spoke and most important, they were honest. Smartly Dressed and Neat Attire, Pleasant Greetings and Very importantly Good Grades! They are Bright, Vivacious, and Innovative and want the world to see them.

People are Ostentatious! thats way of life - if not everywhere, at least in Chennai.

While we Jauntingly take up bus to commute to office, a little more than the acceptable levels of nonsense takes pace, more than the bowling speed of L Balaji.(*lighter pls!)

Next to Vijay’s Thalaivaa(at present! yes) the most interesting forever trending topic would be  Gossips and love talk!. While Causerie is defined as a informal chat in social occasion, it failed to define the social being of the people around! Scary and Horrible Stories (yea some overheard! - apologies to them - Not my fault though! )

Olfaction of Breakfast! are you kidding? in the bus with 20 odd people standing - IN - Out! yeah people do it with ease. 

Hunting ground for Maniratnam - Shankar and More directors as they can spot heros and heroines with cost cutting ( popularized word in the recent times ).

Inches of Makeup are thicker than the smartphone cover!

Myoo - zik (Music ) has a endless playlist and Intruding them during their Rock Music is as equal as washing the buffalo ( though i have not done both these activities, its a mere OBservation! )

atrocious fact is Romancing!, i am sure that sums up!

Still, we see modest folks around trying to have a best travel experience ( they are best because they fall asleep after getting in to a seat! )

Well, i am Not complaining nor annoyed. i am just testing my Blogging skills! in that case why 19B is a title!

He can act, sing, dance and that’s Siva karthikeyan for you. Sometimes, ( atleast to me ) he makes a resemblance of Superstar on screen with his facial expressions ( excuse, if that is not appealing to you ).

Well!! Reviews are not meant to reveal the plot (even if I decide to reveal, it isn’t going to be a big impact!!! Ops! Did I reveal something here?)

Director should be appreciated for his selection skills (Movie Cast is apt). If there is one thing, that will make you feel part of this VVS, then it will be Soori and his timing. Siva has his own genre of ‘Comments cum comedy’ types but he got to be careful of being trapped in complacency.

Flex banner & Gun plays a special character. Herione as a Latha pandi is beautiful and young. Songs are bearable but could have been better, first half seems bit lengthy but yeah the movie will take you through.

Sathyaraj, I felt his role was underplayed but the characters (the fantastic 4) around him makes justice to Sathyaraj’s legacy.

Final Verdict: Family Entertainer. Rate : 3/5
